Privacy Policy

Rally is built with your privacy in mind. We collect only what's necessary to make the app work, we never sell your data, and you can delete everything at any time.

1. Who We Are

Rally ("we", "us", "our") is a habit tracking iOS application developed by Jakub Kiszkowski. If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, you can contact us at rallyhabitapp@gmail.com

2. What Data We Collect

We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide the Rally service:

Email address — used to create and identify your account
Name — optional, only if you choose to enter it in your profile
Habit data — names, emoji, and completion dates of habits you create
Apple ID information — if you sign in with Apple, we receive your name and email address as provided by Apple (first sign-in only)

We do not collect your location, device identifiers, browsing history, or any other personal data beyond what is listed above.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to provide the Rally service:

To create and maintain your account
To sync your habits across devices
To send push notifications for habit reminders (only if you enable them)
To restore your data if you reinstall the app

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than operating the app.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore and Authentication), a cloud platform that provides industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Each user can only access their own data — your habits are never visible to other users.

We also store a local cache of your habits on your device using AsyncStorage, which allows the app to work offline. This cache is tied to your account and is cleared when you sign out.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except:

Google Firebase — our infrastructure provider for authentication and database storage
Apple — if you use Sign in with Apple, Apple processes your authentication
RevenueCat — if you purchase a Pro subscription, payment processing is handled by Apple and RevenueCat

These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and applicable data protection laws.

6. Your Rights — Deleting Your Data

You have full control over your data:

You can delete individual habits at any time from the app
You can delete your entire account from Profile → Delete Account
Deleting your account permanently removes all your habits and personal data from our servers immediately

When you delete your account, all data associated with your account is permanently and immediately removed from our Firebase database. This action cannot be undone.

7. Push Notifications

Rally can send push notifications to remind you to complete your habits. These notifications are optional and can be disabled at any time from Profile → Notifications or from your iPhone's system Settings.

We do not use push notifications for marketing purposes — only for the habit reminders you configure.

8. Children's Privacy

Rally is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
